OBD2 Donor car, Obd1 Car
So my computer at work is extremely slow. So even though ill get flamed(puts on fire suit) I figured id try to get a direct answer rather take 5 hours on a shitty internet connection trying to search. So my apologies.
Situation i have is i have a 96 Integra Gs-r. I was t-boned so now im left with a parts car. I came upon a Cx hatch today, and im debating now what i wanna do, keep the gs-r parts or sell them. The whole accident has set me back financially unil the insurance claim go through.
Question is if i wanted to swap basicly everything from the gs-r to a 1994 cx, would i have to switch up the engine harness, ecu, and dist, being their obd2. Or is it possible to leave the engine,dist,harness in tact, and just do a ecu conversion(such as jumper harness). One thread i did come upon while attemping to search before i got frustrated was, a guy said you could use the obd2 harness and dist, but run a obd1 ecu.
Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Plug and Play baby, no conversion harness required!
Your GSR Engine harness will plug right into your shock-towers in the CX hatch and then you just need an OBD1 P72 *IIRC* from a 94-95 GSR Teggy and it will work perfectly. (You will also need to lay wiring for Vtec from your ECU to your shock tower, but thats fairly easy)
I KNOW this works from experience, I have a 96 B18B1 in a 92 CX hatch, Plugs right in, started right up with an OBD1 ECU despite the dizzy, alternator, etc being OBD2.

Very nice to know. Thanks for your help. Now to keep the swap and be tight on cash for a little, or go back to my old sohc turbo set up and sell the swap...hmm choices

I had a mini-me SOHC and I was never happy with it because it was totally gutless (No Torque) hence why I went B18B1, and I'm glad I spent the money on it now, (Regret spending money on the D
)
