crx compatibility question

crx compatibility question
i have an 89 crx si and i'm not sure if a set of 88 crx front fenders will fit right up to the 89 body?

same part #, even the trim and clips are the same 88-89. all fenders are the same from 88-91 but clips/trim is different from 88-89 to 90-91
