94 GSR Engine Start
Hey guys, I have a 94 GSR and I have a problem when I start my car sometimes. sometimes when I turn the key to start the car, there will be a high pitch squeeling sound but the engine doesn't crank to start. This doesn't happen often but I was wondering what is causing this and also if there is something wrong with my engine?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!
I have asked around and have also heard people say it might also be that my flywheel teeth is damaged? Should I try replacing my starter first and then see if I still get this problem?
Yea replace the starter and go from there. Normally it'll make a grinding noise when it is damaging the flywheel. Usually that only happens when the starter's gear shaft gets stuck out. And if its the flywheel it would be doing it all the time not just sometimes. Know what I mean?
