I don't know if my gsr has been doing this since I got it but I noticed the other night after I start my car, the MAINT REQ light blinks about 7 times after my car is started then it stops. It also does it when I just turn the key into the start position without holding the clutch in (II i think). Can someone run out to their car real quick and tell me if theirs does it too? It goes along with that beeping sound, the beeping stops, it blinks about 7 more times then stops. I was going to call acura and ask them but their service dept. is closed on weekends.

One more question, would acura void any warranties for having a AEM CAI installed? Before going I was going to put my stock airbox in real quick so I don't get fucked out of any warranty work.

 

That means your getting close to needeing to do some regularly scheduled maintanence. In a few hundred miles it should come on solid and stay on. Time for regular service.
