Just finishing up on my other project car. Its a 1994 Mustang Cobra set up for drag radial classes. Here are some specs:


GT47-88
Water to air IC
Motec M800
Etc.


We are going to be logging EVERYTHING, and we are working on putting in a couple wheel speed sensors to take advantage of the GOOD Motec traction control. We just got done fabbing the turbo kit and wiring in the motec, here are some pics.

Im hoping to try to start the car tomorrow and go from there ! It shoud be a fun ride

Looks like it goes inside the car like most of the other turbo mustangs.

Wow!! Pretty sick. I haven't seen too many turbo Mustangs set up like your but Man yours definitely looks well put together.

What kind of numbers are you looking for?

 

If you're setting it up for drag radial classes, what's the point of trying to get motec's traction control working? it's not legal for 99.9% of stuff anyways.

Mustangs are fun I've had my notch together for two years and it's a pretty simple setup, Dart block 349, eagle internals, TFS-R heads, cam is under .700 lift, powerglide, and a simple 25.5 chassis. Don't have enough ***** to hang with any class racing nowadays, but I've been 8.20's on a 275/60/15 tire and it only has a 1.5" hood on it, doesn't look much different from billy bob's notch you see at meets that runs 14's.

 

I'm sure they're just setting up the traction control so Tim can drive it on the street...
