Default If you could spend $700, which would you choose and why?

03 NHBP RSX Type-S
My definite plans are to tint the windows and tails.

SO, would you choose:

17" wheel and tire package (probably black or gunmetal)

OR

Hondata Reflash and lowering springs?

If I get the latter, I'll probably end up painting my stockies black with a red lip.

Also, are there any mild springs that will not cause premature shock failure? I read about people with TEIN S-Tech and their shocks are popped after 10k miles.

^Don't waste $700 on an intake.

Save a bit more and get SRI/H/E

I already have SRI, catback exhaust, Revo SS. I thought about a header, but I want to keep my cat, and the shorty header is worthless IMO (too much work for little to no gains). I also snagged some magnetic drain plugs and aluminum shifter base/cable bushings.

I'm just debating whether to go with the reflash and sligh drop, or just get some wheels and a few other inexpensive odds and ends.

ARC and Mugen are nice, but I just don't see the point of purchasing something that produces the same results as a $50 combination of generic piping and K&N filter.

Unless it's a show car, then you need that BLANG BLANG son

Those wheels are & will look hideous on his RSX. Isn't there a thread you should keep all your FS posts located in. At least PM the guy.

Hehe battle of the '07s!!!!

Honestly, I'd go with window tinting and an Eibach Prokit, and a bigger rear sway bar.. Paint your OEM wheels if you don't mind doing it.

1.They actually look quite nice
2. some people dont look, so i was just informing him
3. The reflash would be a waste, so i would go with a set of lowering springs, tint, and rear sway

I don't have that kind of money to drop on KPro plus tuning. That's like $1500-2000 right? Shizz..

And I'm not going for crazy power, just a lil pick me up. I/E is pretty much gonna be the extent of my "power" mods.

Why not put it towards owning the car, if you dont already. Mods are a lot easier and more fun to do when you dont have to worry about making your payments at the same time.

Would you get the same gain from a K&N filter compared to a ARC Box ?

Like I said, I don't have the cash for KPro + TUNING. I'm in college son, work 30+ hours a week so I can pay my insurance/gas/cell/apartment savings fund lol..

I have SRI and exhaust, I DONT think I'm going to get a header. Just because I want to keep my cat (emissions hassle) and a shorty header is pretty much a waste of money considering the poopie gains.

BTW, why is a reflash so unpopular so far? Anybody actually have it and not pleased?

I haven't heard of any great gains from a reflash, maybe a few HP, the HP to money ratio is way off.

OP two of the best dampers/coilovers you can get for the dc5.

1. BuddyClub N+ dampers.
2. function and form type 2's.

^ if you decide to get these just run a decent rear camber kit like SPC or Ingalls "rubber" if its your DD. really no need for the fronts because of the pillowball mounts that are camber adjustable. <--- comes with both sets of dampers above.

^ i dont want to start a huge arguement in your thread about the best coilovers and all that but if you need some info on suspention for your rsx PM me.
