I bought some wheels, Racing Hart CPF's, from member ekk41. He claimed they were not bent but were minorly scratched and curbed. I was fine with the scratches and slight curbing and they did look fine as far as not being bent but after closer inspection, they were not sitting right. The lips are crooked. I asked him for a refund and well... read on.

I believe I had said they were not bent because I 100% believed and inspected them and they were not bent. 3. You'd have to pay me 160 for the unmounting of the tires. That is what i paid for at just tires off of edinger yesterday.

That dosent really bother me to much, My friend has all that equitment in his garage. He used to work for a place. And owned all his tools etc.

 

Seller isn't honest. That's what I've gathered from the pm's. Come on dude, its a damn verbal agreement when you state the wheels DO NOT have any bends. Refund should be returned in full because of false claim.

I don't know. I can see this thing go either way.

First, you're dealing with used parts. Buyer beware. Its the buyers responsibility for looking at the product and making sure it is what he/she wants. The seller can state to the best of his/her knowledge of the product. That's it.

Once the product is out of the sellers hand, its sold as is. There are no warranties or refunds on this site unless the seller stated that in the thread. The seller should have stated sold as is in his thread, but in my opinion, its believed to be so considering he's not a retailer. He's selling USED parts.

The seller was gracious enough to refund part of the money. In my opinion, the buyer should take it and run. The seller does not have to refund anything.

I know how it feels to be lied to on HT and purchasing parts where the condition was not exactly as stated in the ad. I've been there.

Hope you guys resolve this in an adult manner. These matters should be handled out of the classifieds in my opinion.

but being a good seller he should do the right thing and refund the money and not stating what was wrong with it is wrong........

That is true, it was/is a Verbal agreement. And he did say that, i was even there. Said, they were straight, no bends or Curbs. Honestly i think there should have been a recipte that was wrote up. or something. But It was False Claim for sho. 100%
