I picked up this set of foggies with Brackets switch and relay for $120. I compared them to some JDM ones and the lense is slightly shaped different and yellow.They came of a USDM Hatch with all the HONDA optional goodies.

My Questions:
1) Are they EF Fogs?
2)Can they be mounted to my EF9 front?
3) Can i use those brackets if so?
4)Are they some sort of HONDA optional part.
5)IF so is their a write up on throwing these on?

those are 88-89 fogs, I dont know if they will work on a sir bumper

 

i dont think they will mount up to the jdm bumper since those fogs need the bulky usdm bumper support to mount to and the jdm bumper uses a HF style lightweight bumper support. thats why jdm fogs bolt up to the chassis.

you could easily refab that bracket to make those work.

assuming your jdm front lacks the mount points.

And they look like prelude fogs.

i think the only way to use those fogs on an sir front is to use the usdm 90-91 bumper support, but i dont even know if it will fit the sir bumper. imo i would just sell those and pick up jdm fogs.
