Default USDM Header a two piece?
is the stock usdm header for the R a 4-2-1, two piece?

yes and it isn't really a header but it is a cast manifold

i'd asume its a 4-2-1 spoon1 ... it cant be a 6-2-1....

Well this is a Spoon 2-1..dunno how much more specific i can be. I doubt it would just bolt up to the stock 4-2....just thot id ask.

go for it and try it out , or you can call who ever sells it and ask them if its made to fit the stock exhaust manifold ...

Yes, that spoon 2-1 piece will bolt on to stock 4-2 manifold but will not fit the stock cat ......

agreed, id probably get a hiflow cat...im just wondering if this setup would be just as good as getting say a dc jdm. Just exploring the possibilities.

I think it is a worthy upgrade. The collector end where most of the hp is made.

And if you not satisfied with the results, you can always purchase the 4-2 piece later on.

Smart idea - adding the 2-1 Spoon piece. And like what was said before, if you are not happy with the results you can always buy the 4-1 piece later. Go for it!

The spoon 2-1 looks like its ceramic coated whereas the vision is stainless. Can anyone confirm this?
