Default painting CTR style grill VSM...cant find the paint anywhere

so i got a $15 ebay ctr style grill and my friend and i are trying to paint it up. ran up to autozone and found they didnt have vsm so we got one that looked like it, painted it up and it looked sweet, except it didnt match my paint (it was way off). so i go to a local auto paint supply store, they dont have vsm either wtf. i guess theres some store that can put vsm in a spray can for me so i might just have to do that but what did you guys do for yours? i didnt think it would be this hard...

Get the paint code from here, and find a good paint shop to make it for you. Would've save you a lot of time from running around trying to find the right match.

I'd just gather up as many parts as you want that will need to be repainted (lips, mirrors, sideskirts, grille, front bumper rash) and get it all professionally painted at once.

When I had my 2000 Si (7.5 years ago), a buddy and I painted our interiors. Got the code off my sister in laws silver Ex at the time and order a can from here http://www.towerpaint.com/

It's factory matched paint and I think I will be ordering more once I buy my front and rear lip.

Or like someone said you may want to grab all your **** and have it done. A buddy at work said body parts you want professionally done because they clear coat the paint and this will protect it from flying ****.
