help with axle problem!!!
Its a b series swap in an 89 civic, and i was having problems with the axles not spining so i searched around and found that i had to remove the ruber peices from the axles and the dust sheilds. That fixed the problem for the passenger side, but now the driver's side wont even spin a little, and the weird thing is that before i took of the dust sheild (Not the ruber peice because it didnt have it for some reason) it did spin a little. Is there something else i need to remove
If the axles are installed, they won't spin? Are you trying to spin the axles in the spindles and in the transmission? Is the front up on jack stands? I need more info.
the axles are in and the car is on jack stands, and the axles arent abs.
what is weird is that before i took the dust seal it actually did spin
thanks for the feedback, your the only one who has helped

i took off the driver's side axle and i noticed that the intermediate shaft is turning, when i did that however the passenger side axles stoped moving...could a bad clutch have something to do with this

if it wasn't lighting-ing out I'd lift mine and see if it spins...it might help if you were in neutral... I dont think that means your clutch is bad. Have you driven the car before now? Also what rubber piece are you talkin about, not the CV boot?

not the boot, but the seal looking thing at the end of the axle. and the car is in neutral...I actually ran into another problem since then, now the car wont even start due to the mpfi swap
holy crap man, well if you could show some kind of illustration as to what you mean...I think right now you need to figure out why the car isn't running first. I know your pain brother, I waited almost 3 years to figure out my cluster[freak] project.
