hoh...mine has 286,xxx miles and it passed with flying colors but yours is a record...if you keep driving it until it reaches 999,999 miles...i remember watch a episode of married with children and al bundy got a new viper for trading his car in...never know they might give you a s2000 for your bad boy...lol

word, my REX passed today too but at 167k miles.

Oh ya I forgot ...original clutch too! but it chatters pretty bad from a stop.

But the car drives amazing.

I wasn't expecting it to pass to be honest....and if it didn't I'd be riding the bus...it was quite nerve racking lol.

hey, I remember your brothers crx could start without pressing the clutch, how did you make this work ?I wanna do the same on my civic and crx..

My Hatchback also starts without pressing on the clutch...

 

prob someone bypassed the clutch switch. it's location is on the upper pedal assembly,.

 

If it is an 88 it probably didn't have that setup on it. Also you can just complete the loop by taking the two wires that are plugged into the sensor(located at the clutch pedal) and join them together with solder and some shrink wrap and your done

My rex is at 97k miles, went to emmisions was exempt til '09
thank god, because my car is a def failer, clean *** body, but my converter just doesnt do the job anymore haha

 

lol i remember watching that episode buahahah....he falls asleep in his car and it rolls and it restarted his odometer lol



congrats for the pass...i need a catalytic converter on mine lol..stupid me..didnt check under the car first when i bought it..

 

it shows that the motor was well takin care of.... i wish my original a6 was like this maby i would have kept it...
