Meh, I already sent a note to Gary about how 6cyls aren't fast.

I know I am in the minority here as a bracket racer but
to letting V8's in. I enjoy the all sport compact racing in brackets and do not feel as if we need to mix in the american made V8 cars. Maybe they need to pump up the car count at some races and feel they can do so by letting in V8's, but certainly not at E-town or Atco. Maybe just how I feel but if I wanted to race with the V8's all the time I wouls sign up for the weekly points series here. I dont mind racing against them but enjoyed the "purity" of sport compacts at these events.

Engine
Replace the second sentence of the first paragraph with the following:
RWD platform: Any 4-, 6- or 8-cylinder automobile engine, import or domestic, permitted.

rules for Pure Street look good except for needing a exhaust system..haha...what is the reason for that anyways is it for noise or to try and keep them like street cars?
Thanks again Glenn for everything to make this class happen

Agree on the exhaust rule and then they throw in you have to have your tranny have a catch pan also. I was running a diaper and now I have to get a Catch Pan made.

to GLENN - yes I said to GLENN, not NHRA. . . .
These guys from nhra come on here posting the rules- but only want to talk when they have something GOOD to say. other than that you tell us to- email glenn, call glenn. Could you use him as a human shield anymore than you possibly do now ? Bullshit in my eyes.

2FastGSR,
NHRA is working with NOPI on the rules and Glenn stepped up and agreed to answer the individual questions.
With our experience it is better to have one person answer individual tech question than 3-4 different people to give 3-4 different answers.
We had Pat Cvengros in the NHRA tech dept answer all the tech questions last year and this year Glenn is the NOPI Xplod Drag Racing Series sanctioned by NHRA Race Director and thus answers the Series tech questions.
Thank you, Gary Raasch, NHRA
