RC310 Injector Installation
a comparison with a stock injector versus rc310. notice, both have one seal each but the rc injector would sit much lower. This doesn't look like how it should be cause the top of the rc injector meet the rail nor will the rc injector go in the injector port of the mani cause the o-ring is too fat.

so i just got off the phone with RC and they said i have the correct injectors although, the seals/insulators im using are being used incorrectly all together. they shouldn't be covering the black part of the injector at all. Instead, I need to get part #2 in the link below and it goes over the silver part (pintle) of the injector
http://www.acuraoemparts.com/d...ch=no
can anyone confirm this? as i see it, if do as instructed, the pintle will not stick in the intake mani as far as the oem injector thus creating fuel leaks. rc310 owners where you at!

Almost always have to re-shim to get aftermarket injectors to fit right. RC does give you new shorter grommets but it needs more then that. Make sure the injectors still rotate a bit and are not getting crushed down too hard.

good thing i've stumbled on this post. thanks for posting.
I'm gonna look into mine as soon as my S2 composite FR arrives this weekend. I have RC 310's and might as well try it on my spare stock fuel rail too. my engine is still under construction so parts are laying all over.
...i'll try to post some updates later.

Ok, so you have these exact ones, right? (picture off of RC's site)

I believe you need these...

part #SL4-0370H Maybe not the whole 370 thing, but that style. All Honda specific applications have an H after the part number, as well as a parenthetical stating, "Honda style top."
I apologize if I am stating the obvious here, just trying to help (I am going through a relatively similar situation right now as well... wack).
If you look here, http://www.rceng.com/Saturated....aspx, you can see how they have injectors listed and all of a sudden they will have the "Honda style top" ones just pop up amongst the "regular ones" and the "Denso style top" ones and all that.
So what does that all mean when they are telling you that all you need is a frickin O-ring and not a different application?? I have no idea. I am currently going through the same thing. We ordered injectors and stated specifically that they were for a Honda and they sent the same kind that you have, and not a set with an "H" in the part number, and they DO NOT fit in to the fuel rail, they are too fat at the top and just plain out won't fit in. Now for me they aren't too short, they are too wide/round at the top. So wth is right.
Anyway man, good luck with that and let me know what you make of all of this nonsense and I will do the same.

Honda Application RC Injectors P.N. = SL9-310. got them from JHPUSA

Fits like a glove

spare me for those washers cause I can't locate the OEM spacers for the fuel rail and IM somewhere

i believe you got the wrong part . have them replaced.

lol nah.. its all good.. lol just shows how ghetto it gets, when it comes to making the car run.. lol hey atleast its under the rails? not that visible..
btw nice visuals on those rc injectors.. interesting

hmmm... have to re-check the injector nozzle/tip distances actually. how far are they right from the IM flange. looks like i need an extra washer under the lower rubber cushion, just like the H22's i've worked on lately. have to compare them later with the stock ones and see how it goes.
put it next to the windshield.. lol distance ftw atomization haha kidding..
but u can try that with an extra IM laying around.. was doing that with a set of bike injectos and it was a pain.. luckily i had an extra IM laying around and 1 injector thats obd1 lol..
