Default Good Ep3 struts... I searched...

I've got an 03 EP3 lowered on B-G Suspension 1.4 inch drop.

They are progressive springs...

I am looking for a good overall strut to throw along with them. I would like to get something adjustable but I think that may be a little out of my budget right now.

My front struts are pretty much gone and I hate bottoming out my car.

I was looking at the Tokico HP blue struts. They seem pretty sweet and good priced at about 450 for a set of four...

Any other suggestions? Does Tokico make the D spec for the 03 EP3? Anything adjustable but still low on price.

I don't spend anytime at the track and most of my driving is just spirited stuff in the hills, etc.

Thanks.

Tokiko blues should suffice for your needs, since you don't even take your car to the track.

$450 for Blues!? Dspec is only like $500 on ebay. Get the Dspecs, you won't be disappointed.

Although I might not need the adjustables I was thinking it would be nice for daily driving... I do a lot of spirited driving on the weekends and stuff.

I could soften them up all week and then make them hard for the weekends.

I forsee possible autocrossing this summer too.

i have an 05 EP3 with Tein SSP on the front from an RSX. my buddy totaled his 04 and got an 06 and did the Tein FLEX. alot of people including the guys from the shop i get all my stuff through have been recommending Koni Yellows w/ Ground Control Springs for the rear. i will be doing the struts and springs for the RSX of course to match what i have in the front, but like i said, everyone has been raving about this setup to me. might be worth looking into.

Everyone seems to be saying koni yellows. If I do that I can only afford the fronts for now which I guess isn't too bad;..

+1

Definitly your best bet....hook them up with a Ground Control 400F-450R setup and your set to carve!

I can only afford front Konis right now. Is it really worht it that much to just put front struts on and leave the back stock?

I was thinking of just getting a set of Tokico Blues or KYB GR2 so I could set up all four corners...

if you go koni yellow and can one get the fronts there is no point. Parts work best when they are match with eachother. Plus the konis are strut inserts, a little more labor and tools needed to do the job. Tokico blues arent bad, but they arent adjustable like the konis, to me it would be worth it to save up and get the rears just because i love my koni yellows so much.

well before i sold my accord and bout my ep..I had KYB gr2's on it and they were horrible i thought..the rears busted within 2 weeks but I changed them out and put 4 KYB agx's on and they were really good struts..they arent to expensive and plus they are adjustable..they ride really really good..but like everyone else says koni yellows..ive never used them myself but thats what I have heard for 3 years that they are the best..I know they are expensive but you get what you pay for period!
