I'm going to attempt to paint the silver piece on the picture below oem black. what is the best paint to use and the paint color closest to oem interior black? and if you have experience with it how long does the paint last if prep and painted properly?

btw should i sand it first then degrease it or degrease it then sand it? also what a good brand for degreaser?

any type of was and grease remover will work...also use some common sense, what you think would be smart? degrease sand degrease to be 100% safe.
