Hi guys, i just picked up a 94 integra ls, great car, but it was my first manual car. I think i may have burnt the clutch... or did somethin worse. When the car isnt started i can shift through all the gears, the clutch pedal feels alot weaker tho, it doesnt feel like it engages properly and is really lose/weak. When i start it in neutral tho, it will not even shift into any of the gears at all. When i try and start it in first, it makes a weird nose and my car starts to drive forward, but it wont start.

any idea what may be the problem here?

your clutch s**t on you...yeah you prolly killed it...

 

clutch is beat... good time to do a clutch kit check the rear main seal while ur in there Also a good time to do a lightweight flywheeel

 

good idea...may i suggest Exedy stage 2 clutch and 8 pound flywheel.

Sounds identical to the time I blew out 2 springs in my clutch disc.

Time to start searching for a new clutch. Since this is the first standard car you've owned, I wouldn't suggest getting an expensive aftermarket clutch. Get another OE, or equivalent, and spend some time learning to drive the car.

 

had tha same problem.. i slapped on a new exedy stage 1 organic clutch and im using tha stock gsr flywheel still and it grabbs alot harder..

 

thx for the quick reply guys, im thinking of getting the f1 racing stg 3 with 9 lb flywheel from ebay, pretty cheap like 250 shipped, since i wanna turbo in the future i might as well get something i can use with it, any feedback on this clutch?

 

i don't think you need to do all that. most likely one of the springs popped out and is stuck in between your clutch and pressure plate (happened to me on my first car as well) just go out and get like a exedy stage one. i got mine off of here for like 230 shipped. but since you're going boost you might want a higher stage like what you want. but till you are boosted it's going to suck driving your car daily.
