Sorry im a noob...tried searching. will a header off a vtec engine fit a B18?
hello all,
I have a question, tried searching and found nothing so please bare with me cause I know this might be an easy question, but I need help.
I plan on switching headers soon, the person im switching with has a vtec engine and I do not. Will these headers fit on my B18 engine? His header does not have an o2 sensor but I know my header does, so hes going to drill a bung so that way it would have my old o2 sensor. Is this ok? or would it affect performance having this welded in, i assume?

The B-series heads are all the same bolt pattern off the head. That part of the manifold with bolt up with no problems.
The part you will be concerned with is the collector. The length differs from car-to-car. i.e. the length of the collector on the 98 Integra GS 2-door is different from a 2001 Type-R.

It sounds as if your friend has a '94-'99 GS-R header, in which case it will be too short to fit your exhaust without modifying the B-pipe.

thats usually the only problem when coming to buying different headers.

This car has a full skunk2 catback system. does this make a difference, so it wouldnt be short?

1994-2001 RS GS LS / 97-01 Type R
2000-2001 GSR
^-- For these models, the header all the way to the catback exhaust is interchangeable.
1994-1999 GSR's a pipe is a bit too short as shown in the picture and what everyone has posted.
