Need help after V2 install

Default Need help after V2 install

i have a 98 ex i just installed a v2 intake on it yesterday.... today when i was driving it started to idle really high rpm's like id put it in neutral and itd be revving at 4000 rpm... i popped the hood and messed with the throttle and it was real stiff i was able to push it down to get it to stop revving high but it seems that the next time i give it gas its gonna get stuck again... any help?

From the sounds you describe it seems the throttle body is getting stuck. Get some throttle body cleaner and clean it...

unless you forgot to put the sensor back in..

i put both the sensors back in... although the nipple comin off the intake for the 'recirculation air tube' is left open, i didnt have anything to put on it?....

you delete that and run a straight coolant line from the throttle body to the head.

Make sure that you put the TPS back into it's correct slot. I replaced my TPS and didn't get the little notch back into the correct position, and I was reving in the 4's. I'm almost 100% sure that there should be pressure on the tps. What I mean by that is, you put the TPS into it's slot, and then, in order to tighten it down, you have to turn it (clockwise I think) to align the holes to screw it into place.
