is the harness oem for the 2000 fogs or from ur original year car? if its for the 2000 it will be fine. i did my conversion about 3 weeks ago and the harness for the 2000 fogs worked out fine for me.

Yes, all 96-00 Civics are prewired the same way, a single wire running from the engine bay to the interior.

Sorry to thread jack.

But since were talking about 99-00 fog lights. I'm trying to wire up my fog lights to the OEM fog light switch. So that it can be turned on independently and at anytime. Any one know how to wire them to the fog light switch?

Do you have an OEM harness?

Unfortunately not, at the moment the fog's are tapped into the head lights. If that makes sense, the fog lights turn on with the parking lights. I dont have a fog light switch yet. When I get one soon, I want to wire it to the fog light switch.

I was hoping to do a "diy" type wiring of the fog lights to the fog light switch.

The two wires going to the fusebox, you put those two wires in the certain slot to make them turn on without headlights.

The wire coming from the relay plugs into slot #1. The wire coming from the switch plugs into slot #4

You'll need a new hood, headlights, grille, and support to fit your new 99-00 bumper

Yea, but they also have the rest of the 99 front end. Your 97 grille/ headlights / hood won't fit the 99 bumper
