got one on my sol from VIS.Just move over your lights for the license plate and the metal hook to latch onto your trunk latch cable that's probably it besides the 4 screws that mount onto your trunk like the hood does. Here's a pic

It should be fairly easy. Trunk should just bolt right in and just mount your OEM lights.

just make sure u dont get OwnEd..!!

i got mine for 150 off Craigslist, it was ViS stamped an **** so im all happy to get home an install it... Well once its on an checked out, i noticed where it should be sealed to the trunk, it sat up about an inch on both sides, ud have to push down on the hood or sit on it to make it seal completely... I sold it on ebay for 250 with pics an statements of its unfitting style, but the buyer told me his body shop fixed it in a jiffy so i made 100 bucks an saved someone 100 bucks, all worked out good...

Looks good from that angle, but it just wasnt my style I guess...

I have a Vis carbon trunk on my Si and it sucks. The whole part where the lisence place goes is all cracked and there is soo much oxidation on it. Hope you have good luck with yours!

Yeah VIS uses a gel like clear on it..while others actually clearcoat it..

My hood cracked to ****... The HC racing hood i have now just chips a little.. as far as my trunk goes. Its pretty much all in claybar'ing the hood. I do mine every 6 months or so to keep oxidation from happening, and wax it monthly....

I've never really seen one that fit good without modification. Thats been my experience with VIS/ Seibon products, but once it's all worked out I like the look

This guy just gave me a link for stuff that is suppose to get oxidation out really good. http://www.topoftheline.com/32ozheavcutp.html I am going order it and give it a try b/c I have already used 2 different products on my trunk to get it back to normal and nothing worked.

my vis trunk turned a yellow color. it looked more like carbon kevlar after about a year. my hood still looks mint. my paint guy said he can fix that by sanding it down to right above the carbon fiber and then mix some black tinter with the first two coats of clear then just spray clear after that. then your good as new for years to come.
