Is it possible to use a rear bumper from a 90 CRX DX on an 89 Civic DX hatch? I know that the part below the taillights on the hatch has the key hole for the hatch lid and it's a separate piece. The CRX bumper has that piece built in to the bumper without a key hole. If I were to remove that piece from my hatch would the CRX bumper line up and bolt on or are they completely different? It looks like it might fit but I thought I would ask if anyone has tried this before I waste my time removing bumpers.

 

88-89 and 90-91 use different mounts and besides the bumper won't fit right..

Good idea though , the 88-89 civic bumper is fugly

 

You can problably get it to fit right but it will take a lil work to do so and make some of your own mounts for it. Drill new holes and stuff. Im sure u can get it to fit.
