Well I burnt a valve in my #4 cylinder. I had a new valve job approximately 50,000 miles(3 yrs ago). Should I just replace the valve, or just goahead and have a new valve job???? What do u guys think

 

there was some oli in the #4 cylinder, but I think that was cause of the burnt valve. All the other valves looked fine. I called a machine shop to get a price of a valve job and a new valve and they told me $300, What do u guys think I should do?

 

any suggestions?

 

You can buy a new USED head for less than $300. or a whole used motor in decent condition if you look around.
