just bought a evo2 cat back for the 97 sh...wondering what cat i should get if i should even get one? if i should what brand/size would be best for most hp and good sound.

Carsound (Magnaflow) 2 1/4 high flow cat. Got mine for $80 shipped on eBay.

 

isn't the greddy exhaust 2.36?? i would hav to bring it to a muffler shop to get it all put on so they could match it up right?

there wasn't a cat on my car in the first place becuase i told the previous owner to just put stock exhaust so i could get it home.

 

Hence the name "Cat-Back", it only replaces the exhaust pieces AFTER the catalytic converter. I never had a chance to mic the inside diameter before I put it on but all specifications say it has 60-70mm piping so i just went with a 1 1/4in cat.

 

ended up getting a 2.25 magnaflow carsound cat.

don't want this sounding rice with the evo2 muffler...anybody have experience with this cat?

 

and im guessing you mean 2.25 instead of 1.25 lol..

yea i got it off ebay for 67 shipped. i told the guy before me to just throw the stock exhaust on and bolt it up with not cat since i was going to get a new one anyways.
