Hondata question
Ok I've apparently reached the limit of this OBD-0 tuning system I'm using and it's time to get something that can actually tune worth a crap. So I'm going with the hondata as it seems to be the best bang for the buck.
I want to make sure that this is ALL I need to get this working and installed on my 88 CRX Si I need to be able to tune a B series as well as my current VTEC D series.
Hondata S300
OBD0 -> OBD1 ECU conversion
OBD1 Distrib.
OBD 1 O2 sensor
BTW if you know anyone who can tune using this LMK
Thanks

That should be about it. You can use your low impedance (OBD-0) injectors as long as you keep the resistor box. The injectors work different ways (peak and hold vs saturated, whatever that means), but it hasn't caused me any problems in my integra that was converted to OBD-1.
Note: my OBD0->1 swap was not for a VTEC motor, so there could be VTEC related stuff to deal with, but I don't know of any off hand.

Church Automotive Testing in Wilmington can tune Hondata. They've done many HC cars, and are great people.

Does this seem like a good deal or just about right?
P28 with S300 installed - $650.00
Rywire harness for OBD0 to OBD1 - $117.00
4-wire wide band O2 sensor - $57.00
OBD1 distributor - $160.00
Total = $984.00

That's odd. I've never heard anyone claim that Hondata was in any way "unstable."
FWIW - the Hondata S200 is considerably cheaper and if you're just going to do a dyno session to set it and forget it. If you're not going to be changing the tune frequently, it will do everything that the S300 will for you (except fit inside the stock ECU case). The S300 (in my perception) is for people who will be doing a lot of on the fly tuning and stuff.

A few of us are running the above system on our CRX's and it works great. It's highly recommended.
