My temp guage goes down while I accelerate, any help?
Is this the stock gauge, or an aftermarket?
I'm thinking some type of voltage drop.
I see you've got another post about a fluid leak ... so, I don't really know.

You're right, I read the original post wrong. Thought he meant that the temp was going up and when accelerating go back to normal. Don't mind me, I'm stupid

i misread sometimes too
Let me see if I remember thermistor temperature sensors right off the top of my head. Cold they have high resistance.....like 5 K or so, hot some drop to about 150 Ohms. So if the gauge goes low temperature , it looks like high resistance on the sensor side of the circuit. ....> perhaps an open circuit to the sensor.
Under acceleration your engine is torqueing over a bit and things are moving around. I would give a look at the connectors and wiring to the temperature sensor, even right at the sensor. Look for something that may be going open when the engine moves a bit. Wiggle those wires as someone looks at the temp gauge.
Good luck,
