OK, my friend went to the parts store the other day. He went in, got some parts, and came back out. Door wouldn't open anymore. When you pull on either door handle, it feels like it isn't connected to anything. You can see the linkage moving when you look through the window crack and it's hooked up. I'm pretty sure the "dog bone" broke at the bottom of the latch assembly. Is there ANY way to get the door open? I was thinking of jacking that side of the car way up in hopes of the metal piece just "levering" over to contact the pin so the door would open.

Anyone?
