In an attempt to add some security to my 93 4 door LS, I'm replacing the front handles with the ones that don't have a key hole (RS handles I think). I've read some DIY's, such as Mac's thread, but I still have a few questions.

Are there any differences in changing out the door handles in a DA vs a DC?

If it's the same, then I'll just use Mac's thread, if not, is there a DIY for a DA anywhere?

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Thanks, but I've already seen this tread too. It's good, but he doesn't show the uninstall of the handle and that's where my question is. On Mac's thread, he is very detailed about how he takes them off. So I guess I should rephrase my question...

Is the <U>uninstall</U> of the door handles the same in the DA vs. DC? For example, the bolts and the actual process of taking off the handles

 

I see, I didn't understand. I just looked at Mac's thread and it looks the same as when I changed the door handles on my DA. The only thing that may be different between the DC and the DA is that I had to use a wrench on one of the two bolts because it was behind the window even though it was all the way up. HTH.
