ITR header on 1st gen B16 problem...
So I just bought a JDM ITR header for my 1st Gen B16 installed in my 90 CRX Si.
Pictures:

And I had already put in the traction bar and had the obd1 jumper harness wires, obd1 ecu, and 4-wire o2 sensor ready to go when I had noticed that the JDM ITR header touches the side of the stock oil pan.
Anyone else have this problem???
Any help would be nice.

The thing is that the header is not slightly touching the pan, i mean its really touching the pan. When I put on the header, it rubs (almost scraping) the side of the oil pan as I line it up the holes with the studs at the top of the header.
One of friends told me to get another oil pan (possibly a 2nd gen B16 oil pan)?
Thanks for the help tho man.

i beat the crap out of my first gen b16 oil pan to clear my tri y header and it affects nothing so I would suggest doing that. But if you hit it to hard its not my fault. hah good luck man.

Back when I switched from a B16A to a B18C5, I tried to sell an Apexi 4-2-1 header that I had used to someone who had a 1G B16A. It didn't fit for the very same reason. Anyway, your only option might be to get a 2G B16A oilpan.

b16a2 oil pan = SUCCESS on clearance for ITR header.
im guessing since the fact that b16a2 is obd1.. the exhaust manifold is different so the oil pan has to be slightly different to clear.
