ecu blinking

i just did a sohc zc swap in a 91 crx dx my ecu is blinking 8 times so it is saying the tdc sensor is bad.problem is i have swaped out 3 new distibutors and it does the same thing.has anyone had this problem?

if swapping distributors didnt work then its probably a wiring problem
