i got me a jdm b16a obd0 an i was wonder can i use another kind of Distributor like maybe a sohc si

i can tell you firsthand that a B18 integra distributor works...however you have to modify the mounting points as only 1 bolt will initially line up. i also had to widen one of the other holes so timing would be correct and make a small bracket to keep it secure.

so i have this integra dizzy with 2 of 3 bolts holding it in place until i can afford a new B16 dizzy. it has been working great for almost 2 years and over 20,000 miles.

i'm not sure, but i don't think D series dizzys will work on a B engine...
