dc headers
aem intake
aem cam gears
act stage 2 clutch and 8lb flywheel
obd2 to obd1 jumper with a chipped p28(8400 redline, 5200 vtec, 3500 launch control, shift light at 8300..
thats it so far and i have other few items that i havent installed whic are:
msd sci ignition
aem fuel rail, aem fuel pressure reg, and b&m gauge
skunk2 intake mani
68mm throttle body
ccomplete zex wet nitrous kit
450cc blue top injectors
o yeah and im planning on gettin my head rebuilt it only has 70k but im gettin it rebuilt, with skunk2 goodies if my budget is right and ill get 3 angle valve job,
so ive been workin on my hondas for a while now but i,ve never had nitrous on any so i just dont want to blow up my engine i want it to be as safe as possible for a daily driver so any help would work thanx

so u think it will be safe without bouilding the block???? i've asked around and they tell me its not safe to do it without building the block cuz the b16 is a high compression engine,,,, but i gues this haters here dont want my car to be faster than theyrs???
B careful man, those high comp motors dont like to b messed with a whole hell of a lot in the way of power adders unless their semi-built to built, just make sure that your tune is on the money, and i think with that MSD box u got that u can get a nitrous ignition retard control that can be activated by the hit on your nitrous switch, but b careful , no sense in spending the money on the motor to not have it tuned and then it pops on u
the nitrous will only be activated when it gets to full throttle...
so whats that nitrous retard system do??
so whats that nitrous retard system do??
if i was you i would do ls/vtec because its a lil less comp then the b16 u have now and then just spend your money on a tune and timing. oh and do a obd2 to obd1 convertion easier to tune, im just saying use your stock engine harness get a obd2 to obd1 ecu jumper and get a p28
i already have that... boomslang 0bd2b to obd1 jumper harness on p28 chipped by a guy that knows what hes doing i had to drive about 2 hours to get it done

well then you should be all set i would imagine that b16 will hold up to 75 if the guys tunes it for you and you run 93 oct gas all the time.
aight thanx i just wanted to hear from someone else i dont want to blow up my engine afer all the time and money ive invested in it... thanx.

if the car is running a obd 1 ecu with the proper harness jumper yes oyu can, how can u say you cant........ he already is runnign a tued p28 on a obd2 chassie, so sir i think you are wrong!

if its a wet shot it should tune its self.. just need to retard the timing a few degrees.. if worried about the compression ratio get a cometic head gasket thats a little thicker to lower the compression.. if my stock block b16 can do 12psi on a 35r than urs sud handle a 75 shot/..
thanx for all the help....
but i decided i want to go with a different set up so i sol my zex wet kit and i got a used one for hella cheap. its a dry one

i have never understood this, why is it only honda is un-tuneable when it comes to obd2 when so many other cars just reflash the ecu and from what i have seen and messed with, flashing is a much better method.
so bascially i guess im asking what is it in the honda obd2 system stops it from being flash or tuned??

from what i've heard not positive tho,,,
honda obd2 ecus are tunable but it cost way too much to do so and its just easier and cheaper and better to switch to obd1 sice alot of ppl have more experience with tuning obd1 hondas its always better to go obd1
