ok i have a 91 crx si w/ b16a converted to obd1, i just put in a new alternator and at idel its 14.5 then when we put a load on it its charging at 12.5-12.9...?what do i do to chec for a bad ground?someone told me its a good idea to run a positive wire straight to the alternator is that a good idea, does it bypass the E.L.D?and now w/ the new alt. iam getting a check engine light , what do you guys think?

 

how do you check the ELD? i checed the code it was for 17, vss so that dosent matter.

its bad alternator.If it is under load when it should charge and it doesn it alt. is no good
