as soon as it came its gone!
hey guys you might have saw my post a week or two ago about being new to the Type R family but as of 2 or 3am my car was stolen.. i bought its 2/12/08 and now its gone.. ive had it almost 3 weeks... i really dont know what to say but i guess ill just start to focus more attention on my hatch now... Sad day on the ranch

my friend just told me you live in NOVA area.. that would be VERY weird if the same people who broke into my car got yours. when/where was yours taken?

srsly. where did you have it parked at? any security measures taken? if you were a new owner maybe you didnt know what you got into by buying an ITR? sucks man good luck with insurance.

Daniel, sorry to hear about your stolen R. Such a bad experience as you only had it for a very short time. As they say: Move on. The ITR is such a thief caR. One just can not leave it out off sight.

i love how a lot of you guys get on peoples cases when their cars are stolen saying they didn't do enough to protect it etc etc. remember, they just got their car stolen, have some sympathy.

I dont understand how you could assume that i dont care about my type R enough. ive had 7 hondas where every single one i loved... there was nothing that i could have done to prevent it from happening.. it got stolen out of my driveway from who i think might have been the owner before me.. my friends mother that live next door said she saw 3 people walk up to the car get in a drive away.. its a 01 so it has and immobliser or however spell it so somone had to of had a programmed key and a viper remote.. i had it for not that long but it was by far the best car i owned. every time i drove that car i smiled it reminded me of when i first got my license and i would just drive to drive.. ive had a eg with a type R motor a 99 si with a type r motor. ive had 3 kswaps but theres just somthing about a PY ITR that just brings the kid out in you... I live in Centreville Va and i would never buy a car to rip apart and sell.. A type R to me is a limited addition collectors item that was worth penny... so all of you guys that stay on HT for every sec of the day and see that i havent wrote back after 21 posts ands like he doesnt care. well sorry i have a life... im out of the game after this im selling my hatch as well i dont want to deal with the whole honda acura seen anymore...

i was thinking it was the previous owner and his friends based on how little of the timespan...does he know where you live? if so, id contact the police about him being a suspect...
