First things first..

Why the hell would you want to do that?
- NO performance gains, only gains on the gay factor..
- The stock air system does a decent job of retrieving colder air.
- A regular CAI would do the job just fine.

Perhaps he's talking about a car with ITB's (but then you'd use four if you even wanted to do that -- which would be stupid)...

But a dual CAI -- do you mean fabbin' up a custom air tube that branches from one to two tubes? That wouldn't help your performance at all.. Air velocity would go down and so your air temperature would go up that's being sucked into the T.B., so it'd hurt ya.

proportionate to the factor of lame.

lol, it will not work. It does not offer the motor any more air than its already getting, in fact, it can actually restrict it because now the motor has to work harder in order to suck air thru the extra amount of tubing. Although, its a creative thought.

Lame.

No gains whatsoever. You'll actually reduce the performance of your engine and also add the gay factor.

lol i guess you could fool someone that has seen pics of a supra or skyline motor and tell them you have twin turbos, but they would have to be really dumb.

I know a guy who done this to a Del Sol and that intake was so loud
at idle you could just hear it slurping almost sounded turbo.
only reason i could think of doing that is for that purpose but whatever floats your boat. and BTW toasted mayonnaise = kick ***!

Hey, what do you know? Someone else from Coachella.

But yeah, this "dual intake" would do absolutely nothing to positively effect your car's performance - except for adding mega-gayness. Just go buy a K&N filter and put back on your stock airbox.

The D16Z6 found in del sol Si's and 92-95 Civic Si's/EXes is just loud. It probably had nothing to do with the intake being a dual intake.

I used to have a D16Z6 back in the days when I was too slum to buy a B series . I had an intake on it and it sounded like a vacuum cleaner. It even had a little suck and puff when I shifted. We used to joke around and call it a "blow off valve" because it was pretty weird.

This was the case with other cars I've encountered with Z6es as well. The D15B7 is loud as well.
