Mine used to do that, the problem was the cround.. i shaved down the grounding bolt spot, cleaned the terminals, and baught a thick *** ground cable, put that on and no more issues...

I bet after it clicks dead, that you can go wiggle or shake your ground cable, get back in the car, and everything will power on...

I've seen a similiar issue like this, with one of the cables that goes to the starter, becoming unplugged. And you can barely tell because it has a rubber cover around it. Theres' 2 cables, the thick one coming from the battery, and the thin one I assume comes from the ignition switch. THIS is the one I pushed back in, and tightened. Check it out.

Hey - I had the EXACT same symptoms.. and checked the small cable that goes to the starter post too. It was loose. Plugged it back in, and the car started right up!

The starter cut relay is shown in the lower right side of the bottom picture that I posted. Note the slight differences from the power window relay (also shown in picture). Additionally note that, after you remove the relay, the picture also details how to test the relay so that a good relay is not replaced unnecessarily. The relay tests require a continuity tester and a battery power source.

im guessing you might have figured out the problem by now .. if not its the nuetral safety switch.. from all of what u said thats def ur problem .. when that goes it wont send power to the starter and alot of time when those go they give no warning .. but from all ur symptoms and what you've done that sounds like ur problem.. good luck
