I have a complete '95 obd1 z6 motor with harness still on it and the stock p28 that I picked up for $300. I am putting it in my old '89 rex.
I have also a 0bd0 vtec wiring harness.. What I am curious about is which wiring harness do I use? The obd0 harness has the resistor box plugs and a bunch of other mystery plugs I will not use where as the obd1 doesnt.
Do I even need the resistor box? I have the boomslang obd1-obd0 conversion harness but thats only for the computer to main harness.
If I use the obd1 engine harness I am stuck where the two meet. - In car harness to engine harness.. what do I need to do to make this work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
and yes I have looked in the FAQ - it doesnt say **** about that of what I need to know.
