Default cams

i got a gsr wit wiseco 11.8:1 pistons and a supertech valve train (flat bottom valves) i am not too sure on what kind of cams to get can anybody help me out

what cams do you have?

how about you give us some details about what you want out of the motor so we can actually help you. otherwise you are going to have johnny cousins brother just spout of brand name cams with various stages that doesnt mean **** to you.

i want a cam that when i get it tuned it will give me a good amount of power i am still putting this motor together so far the bottom end is almost done i am getting it bored out tomorrow and then i can start assembling it when i get it back, i am just trying to get some ideas of cams i can get that will give me the best performance

skunk 2 manifold throttle body fuel rail injectors header any possible bolt on that is avalable i am going to put in on but the car will be like a daily driver i wanna put ac back in it when i put the motor in my hatch

what do you consider a good amount of power? You are not giving us much to work with.....

definitely go with the mugen cams.

what research have you done and seen what it takes to make that kind of power?

i personally would go with a the skunk 2 pro 2s thats what im using in my ls vtec build and ive heard nothing but good things and 11.8:1 would be enough compression to get pretty good numbers out of em but to be honest i dont see them yeilding 250 whp on that setup but i dont know of any cam that would

so i am guessing 250-300whp is a high goal for all motor so a reasonable goal i am guess is like 220-230whp

sorry but u need a clue... 220 is attainable but still tall order considering u dont know a lot... or go to a high reading dyno and at least u will be happy
