When you burn an mp3 disk, you are burning the mp3 file. all mp3 files if labeled/tagged correctly have an id3 tag...

the deck normally reads the id3 tag or the actual file system names

on an audio cd, unless your burner supports CD-Text, it will not burn that information to it.
