When i drive my car (2000 ls) sometimes i will hear a noise comming from the ps/ac/timming portion of my motor (that little corner). It sounds somewhat like air seeping out of something. My car DOES NOT idle up, so that chalks out vacuum leaks.

Last weekend i took my VC off and checked my timming belt, everything looked good, i also looked at my water pump and it seemed ok. My ps hose does leak a little, but have never made any noise ( i have owned the car for almost 2 years) does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I'm going to check it out yet again today.

check ur a/c belt tensioner... i was gettin that same noise and thought waterpump, noticed while everythin was apart that the tensioner was rusted
