Could be that or your ignition/ignition wiring.

Seems you have the same problem as me, my 98 gsr does this when i race recently in fact earlier today i eather push start or just wait like ten mins. I beleive its the alternator im gonna go to auto zone and test it but im sure thats the problem from my research!

yeah dude thats the problem i'm gettin right now...i wanna get a new battery cuz my theory about my problem is that maybe only like 5 outta the 6 cells are workin properly...which could cause the car to not start..either that or it could be as simple as corroted battery terminals or terminal connections...wen u can't start your car, try jumpin it...if it jumps no problem, then it could very well be your battery...let me know how it goes...good luck bro

When you replaced the starter.. did you make sure the starter ground wire was hooked up.. This would prevent the car from starting..

Also.. check the starter backup fuse, and other fuses in the car and in the engine bay.

Try charging the battery for a couple hours and see if it will crank also.

some batterys are better, but if you have a stock car, any replacement battery will do fine

i work at acura locally, make sure you dont have a factory immobilizer (fancy word for an alarm that doesnt make noise). it will click or sometimes crank but will not give you any spark, ie. wont start. sometimes over reving the alternator will create too much voltage and freak out the immobilizer. not positive but just had a 98 gsr in my stall with the same problem.
