Default Paint thinner on plastic sideskirts?

So I was respraying my sideskirts black, and they didn't turn out the way I wanted them to. Should I use paint thinner and start over? Does paint thinner ruin plastics? Suggestions?

what kind of paint did you use ? spray paint from a can, or real automotive paint and clear ?.

in general you dont want to use harsh stripping chemicals on plastics cause of the possibility of seaping or bubbling. paint stripper doesnt evaporate well, it tends to soak into the plastic. personally id just start sanding them. once you sand plastic you also need to use a certain cleaner that will get rid of the oils released by the plastic once its sanded.
