Quick Hood question

Default Quick Hood question

I'm getting a B16a2 swapped in my CRX soon and i know the stock hood will hit it if i get the ZC hood will it still hit or do i have to get the SIR (usdm) hood, but untill i get the money to get one of those how do i lift the stock hood up so it doesn't hit the motor? thanks

just put like 4-5 washers on the back to bolt on the hood (closest to the window) and make sure that that they r in between the hood and the lever. thats all ull have to do. dont need a new hood.
i have the same mounts in my 4-door with b16 and it hit with normal. and i rased it up an i dont have any problam. g/l

When I had a B16A2 in my CRX w/ Hasport mounts, the stock hood cleared without spacing. Now, I have a B16B w/ Innovative mounts, and I had to cut a little 6 sq.in section to clear the corner of the valve cover.
