Default In A Dilemma, 5spd Swap Worth it?

What's up HT, names Kevin. i drive 1996 Civic DX, Yeah its an auto, but am thankful that i got a car unlike other young teens who force their parents into getting the car they want no matter how much it is. I'm already dropped on Ebay Coilovers(FREE) and on Konig Britelite's

OK anyways, back to the topic... Ive been deciding on doing a 5spd swap for quite awhile now. I already have the Tranny in my garage but still need all the other parts to complete it.
Some say, its to much of a hassle to collect the parts and not worth it. And this is where im stuck because lately, ive been seeing fixed up (non ricer) cars. I do want to drive stick since everyone in my family does. What should i do? Go through with the swap or save up for other mods instead. If i dont go through with it im going to sell the tranny and with the money i get, get some new suspension(Kyb Agx/Skunk2 Coilovers) and work my way from there.
HELP ME OUT!

you're kidding right?
if you don't swap your tranny, all your mods will be limited to suspension.

there's no chance of getting speed out of your auto dx, ever.

i dont see how this was even a question... if you want to keep your auto dx, go to http://www.aarp.com for some gas saving tips.

i already know that there's no ways of getting more HP and going fast in a D series engine beside boost and i know that D series dont respond well to boost. all i said was that i want to drive stick.

d series do respond well to boost.

its worth the hassle. its a extremely easy swap can be completed in a day even if its your first time doing it.

it should be fairly easy to obtain all the parts. go to a local junkyard and find a 5speed civic and gut that sucker

p.s. you will notice a difference with a ex 5speed compared to your auto.

my vote is it is definately worth it

imo if your goin to swap the tranny, find an ex with the y8 engine, and swap both. it cant be that much more money, and it would be a lot more fun to drive.
