k sport coilovers

Default k sport coilovers

I have k sport full coilovers for 88-91 civic.I was wondering if I use the 88-91 civic strut forks or do i use the 92 and up forks.I thought I read somewhere that I was to use the 92 and up forks but I cant seem to find it now?Any ideas?????Thanks

they are not the same. im not sure about k sport but if you run eg suspension then you need to use eg strut forks and vice versa, one of them is bigger, i forget which one

I have K-sports on my 89 EF, it bolted up nice with the stock forks..

the bottom of the strut, the part that goes into the strut fork , is bigger on an eg

they are made for the car, so if you ordered one for an eg then you must use eg forks. and so on.

depends on were you get them. found them as low as $750, but there $1000 retail.

I got my Koni yellows with custom rate Ground Control coilovers with two front tophats for 900 bills shipped, with lifetime warranty's on both. And that was from one of the dealers in the sponsor section of HT!

If you have an 88 CRX then your options are:

1. Order the 89-91 setup and change your rear LCA.

2. Order the Type R coilovers and run EG front forks due to the fact the ITR front struts are a bit thicker than the EF setup.

That may be where some of the confusion comes from. If you have 89-91 ef's you are golden. Us 88 guys have it rough unless we want to get JDM SIR suspension setups and those are either used up or expensive to find and get.
