Ok, so I bought my first civic with some mods already done. Great car so far, a few quarks I was hoping for some insite on.

First I'll describe the car:
1997 civic with b20z engine, integra intake
5 speed
suspension work

Main problems:
Car shakes when "under load" between 60-70mph
Gas peddle very stiff, (not sticky), anything I can do about that? Maybe swap in CRV peddle?
Gas gauge doesn't work, but need a new cluster w/tach anyway.

I'm not a mechanic, but not a complete idiot either (although up for debate)... any suggestions?

Oh, I need a gauge cluster, I'll keep checking the classifieds, but if anyone knows anybody, etc etc etc, please let me know. Thanks.

 

car shaking under load can be wheels are out of balance or some thing else thats all I know lol sorry i couldnt help much

Axles in all the way? As for the Throttle cable, thats a cable or butterfly spring issue. To solve that, try lubing the TB's spring with some white grease.
