Default jdm headlight

i recently put the jdm front end on my teg and i got to say im very pleased on the out come.. but a couple of day ago, some how my one of the lights blow.. the ion yellow light cracked leaving half of the light in the headlight. so i was wondering what would be the best and easier way to pull the lens apart to remove the piece of glass and if there is any way that i could buy just that light.. any suggestions welcomed. thanks...

i have the same problem. is yours the driver side also. your best bet is to unseal the headlight or get a new one. i plan on unsealing it soon. u shouldnt leave it in there too long. the broken bulb will roll around the chip the housing. well it did that to mine.

how do you fit the chopstick into the little tiny fog light area? i can barely fit my hands inside?

as for the yellow covers cracking off..it's due to you using over the RECOMMENDED wattage of 55w. do not use anything higher than 55w!

thanks for the advice guys. but i spent like 3 hours trying to open the light and it was no use. and more bad news, the cracked bulb caused some damage to the black housing. ive really considered to buy a new light at this time.. any suggestions on where to get one headlight from and at a affordable price....

i actually have an extra right side jdm headlight if that's the side you need (US passenger side/JDM driver side)... let me know if you're interested. it's used, collected some dust in my garage...but works fine. i dont think it has all the covers but you should be able to use the ones you have on now.

it's in perfect condition..used but works fine... just a tad dusty.
when i originally cracked my yellow lens... it was just the right side also... i bought a right side headlight for $300 pretty much brand new... used it for a few weeks... then eventually the left side cracked off... so i bought a new pair.. and have this right side one here as a backup...but dont really have a need for it.
give me an offer!
if you need pics let me know...
