Default D15B7 swap in EG sedan: Tranny Mount???

Im swapping my D15B7 mini-me from my del sol into my 95 ex sedan i just bought. The sedan has the D16Z6 in it but theres a huge hole in the block, so im swapping motors. Now, the tranny that came out the car is auto, and im swapping my manual D15B7 tranny and doing a 5 spd swap. Which mount do i need for the tranny to bolt into an EG?? The mount from my del sol wont fit and the mount from the auto tranny wont fit (obviously). Any help would be awesome!

Thats my new ride. It arrived at my house at 5:30

And now 3 hours later!

You need the auto to manual mount from Hasport, no stock mount works. Or, you could cut off the mount bracket and move it, so you could use the manual mount.

Any more info as to why this doesnt work? Im not doubting you, im just curious. Ive done a few EF auto to manual swaps and just used stock mounts, thats why im curious about the EG.

Because the mount bracket (that's spot welded to the frame) is either forward or back more in an auto vehicle vs a manual. It's been a few years since I remember seeing it in my friend's car, so I can't remember if it was forward or back more. Here's a link to the Hasport mount:

From the pic, it looks like the bracket is back towards the firewall more with the auto chassis than the manual chassis. From this link, it also appears that the '94-'01 Integras have the same issue:

I am currently doing an auto to manual swap, get the following items for easy replacement.

http://swapshopracing.com/inde....html

about the 6th from the bottom its the d15/d16 s20 tranny auto to manual conversion mount.

"Innovative Manufacturing 92-95 Honda Civic auto/ 5spd convertion mount"

and use this as a clutch line instead of going tot he junkyard and ripping out the clutch lines from a junker, saves time/space/and a hell of alot less messier

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1

Earls 5 spedd conversion SS stell braided clutch line, comes witht he perfect fittings, when u attatch this to your clutch master cylinder, slide the rubber piece all the way down so the cable is not touching your firewall.

cheers and good luck

I'm helping out a buddy do a 5 speed D16z6 swap in to his Eg dx Auto. Now is that the only mount needed? So with just that mount everything should swap right in?

Could i just use the oem 5 speed tranny mount?

If your doing an auto to manual swap on an EG you can do 3 things about the pocket mount, you can order an aftermarket mount for this, kinda pricey if you ask me, but definately the easiest, you can drill the spotwelds out of the current pocket mount and chisel it off and weld on the manual version, you'll have to get one off a junked car, or you can get creative and make something. personally i went with option 2, turned out good, spot welded through all the old holes and painted it to match the car, looks perfectly stock, if you use the 5 speed pocket mount then you will need the 5 speed tranny mount as well
