Down to the last of this monsterous project.
Basicly, '92 DA. Everything under the hood and inside the cab (-minus seats/wheel) has been completed.

Besides wheels, if this was yours, what would you do to "Finish" the exterior?
Exterior mods to date: Orange reflector removed '92-'93 tail lights. Head lights and smoked bumper lights. Removed and capped rear wiper. Mild drop on H&R's.

I want to keep it clean. I just got a set of EM1 Skirts (free) that I'm going to try and fit to the car. I would like a greater drop on the car and do plan to get the thin moldings for the sides..
Any Ideas? or things I've missed?

Shave off all the mouldings would be better.

i say ditch the ek side skirts, i think they are really played out. it's like they're a "must have" on a honda. but i don't like them. that little skirt at the end doesn't flow with most cars, especially da's. but again, this is just my opinion.

i say just a front jdp lip. yeah those have been done, but that's the only good lip for a 92-93 front. maybe some mugen side skirts, replicas are probably easier to find. i don't really know i'm not used to telling people what to do to their cars, but since you asked...

Change the wheels to GSR blades. That's about it for me if it's a DD. Otherwise, turbo the motor.

keep the moldings
get 15's, some OEM wheels, fat-fives maybe, blades maybe, or even slips would be nice.
get a lip
take out the tint,
drop it about 1.5 inches

...then drop a k20a in it.

Finally!!!! someone had to say it shaving the moldings on DAs ruins the body lines on them. I've seen it done and it looks like crap. DAs are one of the only few hondas that looks good with their moldings on.

I need to look up some pix of shaved moldings. Honestly, I couldn't see myself doing it. The black moldings add a really good line to the car. It comes down to person pref. I guess. I wouldn't call it rice, done or not though. If I cut in vents for my rear wheels, I would call it rice.

Super JDM Yo...So you don't think the EM1 skirts will look good. (car currently unskirted)
I think I know what your talking about when it comes to possibly not fitting the lines. I do believe these cars need skirts. The roll in from the door down is plane wrong. The car always looks 2-3" higher than it actually is. Back in the day, My WingsWest skirts actually sat as low as the car actually was and I really like that.
Anyone know how the EM1's will turn out on a DA? I haven't found any others done w/ those skirts yet. At the least, I will try to install them.

Wheels wise, I just picked up a set of 15" Rota SubZeros. They're used and turned out to be polished. I don't like them on a white car. I plan to paint them. If I get a chance to roll the car out and take some pix, I will get them posted ASAP. If anyone has suggestions on what colors to paint them let me know!!

I want a lip really bad for the front end. Everyone is telling me GET A LIP...let me know what you have seen and what brands. If you have pix, please post!!

A couple others,
The Wing - Stays...its what makes that car for me. Fits the lines well and is low profile.

I really appreciate everyones comments, compliments and any criticism.

I've been working on this car for a long time. It has been parked on jackstand for 2 years for massive rebuild/turbo/overhaul. Every time I'm close to getting done, I think of something else to add.

For all those people that mentions.."Intercooler behind bumper"...Does this work?

I want this car finished right and clean as F*ck...Please tell me more

here is a lip
http://www.heeltoeauto.com/Hon....html
stock = bestos

and i think someone said, they noticed you were in arizona, in that case, I would probably keep the tint for pratical reasons. summer = brutal with no tint ( I was in pheonix all summer, bad idea b/c i have no tint).

your engine looks badass

Don't know if I've ever understood the appeal of sidemarkers. To me, the make a car look cheap...maybe i've seen poor quality markers..

In Oz we have them all standard on ALL cars (illegal not to have them) so it depends what you're used to seeing. It's weird for me to see a car without them. They can be done well, or not so well. If you don't want one more thing to mess around with, don't do it.

Don't shave the molding, go for JDM thin sides, i think thats a clean mod.
Other then that... just keep it clean and stock looking, i think it looks good have you done antenna delete?
maybe a lighter tint, but thats a pain in the *** to undo

It looks pretty good as it is.

I would do... JDM 1 pieces, OEM bumper lenses (their clear), JDP Carbon fiber front lip, Carbon fiber hood, Some decent sides (Wings west/DC/EK), JDM thin side moldings... 15" Mugen MR5s or something.
