Painting an AEM FPR, and fuel rail
Can it be done without problems? Any tips on how to do it, if so?
I just paid about half price for a brand new AEM FPR, and fuel rail combo. Both are blue, but that's not the color I want (was thinking about silver instead), but I only went with the deal because of the price.
Your thoughts?

I painted my STR fuel rail flat black and have yet to have problems with it. Sanded it with 1000grit, cheap primer and 2-3 coats of 0.99cent flat black paint I had around in the garage. Just be careful when putting the fuel lines and injectors back in as the raw liquid fuel will strip the paint back off
